Instead of making a standard catalogue I developed the concept of producing a newspaper that would be an honest reflection of Erik Jørgensen's passion for design, crafts, materials and manufacturing techniques. The paper also acted as platform to
release their latest pieces and other Erik Jørgensen news. In essence,
the consumers' focus
is altered from cost concerns to the appreciation of quality and design.
The promotional paper was released over the economic downturn when
the furniture industry was hit hardest, but during that period Erik Jørgensen saw a rise in their sales.
